This Privacy Policy applies to the mobile app identified above and the local-first workflows it provides for theatrical live performance, including BLE device scanning, device detail inspection, optional printer testing, book magic setup, fake wallpaper or disguise modes, and optional license activation.

Aletheia is not a gambling, casino, betting, or real-money app. The physical dice, receiver, printer, and other Bluetooth accessories supported by the app are treated as performance tools controlled by the performer.

The app may process the following categories of information:

• Bluetooth and accessory data. Nearby device identifiers, names, RSSI values, service UUIDs, manufacturer data, GATT services, characteristic details, saved device snapshots, and selected-device lists.
• Imported files and derived content. User-selected PDF books, wallpaper images, extracted page text, preview thumbnails, manual page or line inputs, printer test text, and performance display text generated from your workflow.
• Microphone and speech-recognition data. Audio captured after you enable voice input, plus transcripts or candidate results used to resolve spoken page and line cues.
• License and connectivity data. If you use the optional license feature, the app may process a server URL, activation code, random install ID, device name, platform, app version, device token, masked code, plan name, and validation timestamps.
• Local settings and preferences. Theme choices, trigger source selections, page or line offsets, fake wallpaper editor settings, clock overlay settings, printer-lab test preferences, and similar local configuration values.

We use processed information to:

• discover, display, save, and reconnect to performer-owned BLE devices;
• read user-selected PDF content and resolve page or line selections;
• show disguised or fake-wallpaper output for performance workflows;
• listen for spoken page or line cues when voice mode is enabled;
• send text or printer payloads to the accessories and printers you choose;
• store layout, theme, and workflow settings on the device; and
• activate, validate, or deactivate a license if you choose to use the optional license flow.

In the current version, most data is stored locally on your device using platform key-value storage and app-private files or document directories.

• Saved device snapshots and selected-device IDs are stored locally.
• Imported book metadata is stored locally, and imported PDF files are copied into app-private storage.
• Imported fake wallpaper images are stored locally in app-private storage.
• Theme settings, fake-wallpaper layout settings, offsets, and trigger preferences are stored locally.
• License state such as server URL, install ID, device token, plan name, and validation timestamps is stored locally if you enable that feature.

• Saved devices remain on the device until you delete them or uninstall the app.
• Imported books and fake wallpaper assets remain until you remove them or uninstall the app.
• Speech transcripts and candidate values are treated as runtime state and are typically cleared when workflows reset, but derived settings may persist locally if you save them.
• License tokens and related metadata remain locally until you clear or deactivate the license, or uninstall the app.
• If you use a third-party or self-hosted license server, that server may retain logs and activation records under its own retention policy.

• You can refuse Bluetooth, microphone, speech, file, or photo permissions at the system level.
• You can remove saved devices, delete imported books, and replace or remove fake wallpaper assets inside the app.
• You can disable speech recognition mode or switch to non-voice input modes.
• You can disconnect BLE devices and stop sending text or printer data at any time.
• You can clear or deactivate the optional license feature if you no longer want that server connection.
• You can uninstall the app to remove app-private local files and app-local settings from the device.

Aletheia is a specialized performance tool and is not directed to children. If you use the optional license feature, connect to third-party hardware, or point the app to a server outside your region, those third parties may apply their own privacy terms and regional transfer rules.

This site describes how the app itself is designed to behave. It does not replace the privacy policy of a printer vendor, Bluetooth hardware manufacturer, operating system provider, or self-hosted or third-party license server operator.

We may update this Privacy Policy as the app evolves. If material functionality or data practices change, publish a revised version of this page and update the effective date shown above.
